Relationships Between Morphological Characteristics of Roosters in Broiler Breeders at Different Age Periods

The aim of study was to determine the relationships between morphological characteristics roosters and fertility in broiler breeders at different age periods. A total 48 480 hens Ross 308 breeder were used. body weight, comb width length, wattle tarsus length measured for 42, 53 weeks age. 1500 eggs incubated 37.7 °C 50-55% relative humidity 18 d, then 36.6 60% 3 d. effect on index (P=0.002), (P=0.008), area (P=0.015) found significant (P=0.000). There correlations weight (r = 0.663; P<0.05). no correlation width, area, index, 42 (P>0.05). In conclusion; some based external appearance are used male selection breeders, but relationship investigated fertility, except weight.
